Annual Street Festival Features Entertainment, Vendors, Food
Sunday's event is organized by the Massapequa Chamber of Commerce.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — Crowds are expected to line the streets for the annual community festival. Sunday's event starts at Broadway and Veterans Boulevard.
There will be a stage for entertainment, including "Time Was" performing at 2 p.m. music for all generations. At 4 p.m., the LI Rewind Band will hit the stage for 1970s and 1980s favorites.
Chairs will not be provided.

Magician John Lepre will visit patrons throughout the fair to show off some tricks.
Another stage at Broadway and Michigan Avenue will include a DJ mixing tunes and the Massapequa Philharmonic Orchestra.

Children will enjoy the pony rides and the petting zoo, along with face painting.
More than 100 arts and crafts vendors will also be at the festival, and, of course, there will be plenty of food to choose from.
Advanced vendor registration has closed, but those wanting to participate can sign up at 8 a.m. on the day of the festival. Head to the Chamber of Commerce booth for more information.
The festival runs Sunday, June 4 from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with the raindate Sunday, June 11.
