Until yesterday, when I was alerted of another death in this historic building housing 100 plus seniors. Death is not unknown and rarely a surprise as age is our common garment. However, yesterday the ferry arrived unexpectedly for a beloved concierge staff member.
Upon learning of Susan’s abrupt return Home, I knew another lesson has been taught, and I do have a new home with an extended family.
