Another Season

Life is always beautiful. Every second is a gift. I have always believed that, but life also can be difficult.

And old age falls into that category, l will not attempt to deny that obvious reality,

However, as I recall, adolescence wasn’t too much fun either, although the memories tend to soften with time,

One of the challenges for we who were blessed to grow old bones is enjoying the unexpected joys that sprinkle laughter, love and curiosity into each day,

While words do not adequately the pain of loss of loved ones, the memory of love never dissipates, but endures as life continues,

As Dylan Thomas so eloquently said”

“Though lovers be lost love shall not;

And death shall have no dominion.”

When soon summer ever so slowly will begin to fade, it will become important to savor the remaining moments,

Yet equally important to look ahead to the new horizon.

It will always include surprises, the wildflowers of unexpected new friendships as well as the challenge to continue with others on the shared journey of life.
