After suffering its first loss of the season last week, the Massapequa football team recovered nicely in a 49-28 win against Syosset Saturday.
Nick Capuana rushed for 105 yards and three touchdowns to lead the way on offense for the Chiefs. Matt Caracappa threw for 142 yards and a touchdown, and he added a TD on the ground as well.
Dennis Mahoney, Chris Cornell Paul Dilena each had one sack on defense. Capuana led the team with 10 tackles.
