"Ian's gotten a lot of goals for us, but we win because of a great team effort," said Chiefs' head coach Tim Radomski. "You can try to stop one or two guys, but we've got a lot of others that can score. You know, guys like Rob Goeren, Ken Fundus and our goalie Eric Schneider. They're our captains. They really make the team go."
The Chiefs have six players that have scored 10 or more goals this season.

East Meadow (8-9) took a quick 2-0 lead just four minutes into the game, and managed to keep the game close throughout the first half. However, the Chiefs opened up the second half with seven unanswered goals in the third quarter to put the game out of reach. East Meadow didn't score again until late in the fourth quarter.
"We were on a tear in the third quarter," said Radomski. "You know, it was 4-2 going into halftime and we really came out well in the second half."
The win solidified their spot in the semifinals, which will take place at 8 p.m. tomorrow at Hofstra University's James M. Shuart Stadium where they will play no. 3 Hicksville.
Massapequa dispatched Hicksville in their only meeting of the regular season, 9-4. The Chiefs needed another strong second half effort to quiet Hicksville, outscoring them 5-1 after the break.
"It was a good game the first time around, they've got some gifted players but our guys match up well against them. Fundus against (Brandon) Gamblin is a huge matchup," said the Massapequa head coach. "I think you'll see a different game this time. We'll work hard this week and make adjustments."
The Chiefs' only conference loss came at the hands of top-seeded Farmingdale in an early season matchup. Radomski, while being careful to focus on the task at hand, was hopeful of a finals rematch with the team who handed the Chiefs their only conference loss this season. "I hope they'll be there, but we've got to worry about getting past Hicksville first, they're a good team and we've got to just take it one game at a time."
