Champions: Much More Than Tae Kwon Do

Champions Tae Kwon Do, Copiague, gives parents much more than they ever expected when registering their children for martial arts training.

Champions Tae Kwon Do, located at 908 Montauk Hwy. in Copiague, offers students much more than parents ever thought they would get when registering their children for martial arts training.
Run by Master Han, this dojo is quite different compared to others I have seen. The average spectator might not notice the difference at first. To someone who has observed many classes, it becomes apparent that there is much more than average instruction taking place. It is evident that Master Han makes a distinct effort to learn about each student as an individual. He strives to understand their strengths and weaknesses. It is this knowledge that enables him to earn each student’s respect and reward students for their efforts, not just ability. In this way, he is able to keep both moral and enthusiasm high.
In addition to teaching even the youngest students a strong sense of obedience and respect, he emphasizes the importance of self-esteem. All students are taught Korean terms as young as 3 years of age. This cultural enrichment, opportunities to join in state and national competitions, and continued enthusiasm for learning, makes learning from Master Han a truly wonderful experience.
“Master Han teaches with his whole self and his students learn for life”, explained a parent of two Copiague students. “You start to understand when you see students returning every year smiling and eager to learn.”
Champions Tae Kwon Do at Copiague, won the N.Y. State AAU 2014 Championship, AAU District 2014 Championship and placed first as “Best School of The Year” in 2013.
