Suite Pieces, Long Island-based DIY and decorative paint boutique is set to open their third location in Massapequa, June 24th.
Massapequa is about to get a makeover…of the DIY variety, with the opening of Suite Pieces. Suite Pieces Huntington has become a destination for all DIY-ers, who survive on repurposing and refurbishing. Suite Pieces is an elite and rare boutique where one can find anything to completely makeover their home décor. From antiques and furniture to paint and brushes, even classes and events, Suite Pieces is truly a Do It Yourselfer’s haven. Suite Pieces Massapequa will continue in the same fashion.

Just like its sister stores in Huntington and Brooklyn, Suite Pieces Massapequa will carry a full line of Chalk Paint® products by Annie Sloan. Similar to it’s Suffolk and NYC locations, Suite Pieces Massapequa will become the first Nassau county location to stock Chalk Paint®.
In addition to Chalk Paint®, Suite Pieces Massapequa will carry Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint products, stencils, Artisan Enhancements products, brushes, hardware, General Finishes products and painted and unpainted furniture. The exclusive trait to Suite Pieces is its events and workshops, which are taught by the “DIY Queen” and star of the upcoming, July 26th episode of the HGTV hit show, Flea Market Flip, Amanda Peppard.

“Our goal at Suite Pieces is to be a one-stop-shop for all things DIY. Not only do we want to offer the latest and greatest products but we also want to teach people how to use them,” says Peppard. Suite Pieces Massapequa will continue this DIY-movement with workshops that cover the best techniques and tricks for working with the lines they carry. They make projects fun and easy, and customers won’t have to invest a ton of cash or time to get the results they crave!
Suite Pieces late-night creation, Pinterest LIVE! Event has been especially popular at their Huntington location. Crafters enjoy refreshments, chocolates and desserts and replicate (with Amanda’s instruction) a craft that is trending on the addictive Pinterest site. These events typically sell out in hours and will also be available in the Massapequa location.
And for those customers looking to skip the DIY and simply bring home the unique décor? Suite Pieces Massapequa will also carry creatively restored vintage furniture at amazing prices.
“Design for Des!” Event will take place at Suite Pieces Massapequa, Saturday, June 27th 2015 at 12pm. Come help us paint a FULL BEDROOM FURNITURE set for Desiree Vermeulen, a 33-year old mother who suffered a devastating stroke. We will be raffling off goodies and have refreshments from Roast Coffee & Tea Trading Company, where Desiree is employed. Grab a paintbrush and come on down for this free event for an amazing cause!
