H.O.P.E. for Stroke of Hicksville is holding a walk-a-thon to benefit stroke survivors and their loved ones. A rain date has been set for Sunday, June 5.
No entrance fee will be charged to participants who are physically challenged from stroke. A mile course has been mapped out for all participants. Walk donations are $20 per person.
Five Stone Band and The Trash Can Poets will provide live music for event participants. WBAB radio will be there, as well as a celebrity appearance to be announced.
