Former Massapequa High School soccer star Brittany Butts, who's been a defensive oriented midfielder at Hofstra, has added some offense to her resume.
Butts scored the first goal of her distinguished college career Sunday to help lead the Pride to a 3-1 victory over Indiana.
The junior has had two assists in her previous two seasons at Hofstra. But she never found the net until 1:30 into the game against the Hoosiers.

The victory improved Hofstra's record to 4-1 on the season.
Butts has appeared in 41 games for the Pride since taking a medical redshirt in 2007.

While playing at Massapequa, she helped the Chiefs win the state title as a freshman and four consecutive Nassau County Class AA championships.
