MASSAPEQUA, NY — Massapequa native and former Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor John Venditto is expected to plead guilty to state corruption charges Friday, according to Newsday. Venditto, 70, who served as the Town of Oyster Bay's top elected official for two decades, is expected to avoid jail time through the plea deal, sources close to the case told the newspaper

The former politician faced up to four years in prison if convicted of the top count in each of the two indictments against him.
