An Extended Visit

An internal nudging that materialized in an instant spoke, “Get the Elijah Cup.” It had neither been on my mind, nor on my list of things to do, but a subtle yet persistent inner voice urged me to procure it. Reconciling that I would call my friend, Pat, to arrange the designated acquisition, I thought, “This is perfect timing. I will have it for an upcoming HEaling Link ® meeting and A Night of HEaling, which focuses on deep meditation and prayers – an extra blessing I mused.

Pat was thrilled that there was an interest in the Consecrated Cup, and said that no one was lined up to receive it - at all. “How sad,” I thought, and quickly requested it for a couple of weeks so I could have the Elijah Cup in attendance at another HEaling Link® gathering. “Keep it as long as you like,” Pat offered. Joy infused throughout me as I acknowledged with sincere gratitude that an unexpected privilege and honor had singled me out.

Every time the Holy Cup is in my home it piques curiosity, generates philosophic and pious conversations, and of course encourages irresistible touching and caressing of the sacred vessel, which is the center piece on the kitchen table where we gather all day long. It is a modern day reminder of the dedicated people of yesteryear, who were in total alignment with The Lord, and sacrificed a great deal to fulfill His will. This devotion lives on today in you and me and anyone we can enlighten and shower with God’s love and intuitive plan.

The Elijah Cup arrived the tail end of August when the earth’s heat and blazing sun steadily penetrated and fortified all life. It is now the latter part of October with a chill in the air, a distant, yawning sun, and lingering aromas of fired up kindling warming our nasal passageways. The outside world is preparing for its dormant cycle while we situate ourselves indoors where it is quiet, and one can reflect, because it is in the silence that we can hear The Almighty’s words and feel His gentle swaying. Pull up a chair, and open your heart. He has something special to share with you… And as His chosen, only you can do it…
