Fairfield First-Graders Spread Kindness

MASSAPEQUA, NY - From Massapequa School District: Kindness was the theme throughout December at Fairfield Elementary School in the Massapequa School District. First-grade teachers formed the Kind Kids Club and encouraged their students to perform good deeds.

There was a designated random act of kindness each day, such as writing a thank you letter to a staff member or playing with someone new during recess. Students wrote kind sayings, which were then hung in the hallway to spread kindness to the entire school.
