I served (as I recall) ten quiche, some with crab meat, one or two with tiny tomatoes and mushrooms and the remainder with the famed Switzerland cheese,. So yes, I wanted a trip down Memory Lane especially since Will has a cold and will not be visiting today,

The preparation was simplistic. The ingredients even more so especially with the frozen crust. StilI I almost stopped midway wondering why I was baking. There is no “need” since there is always quite a good menu available in the Pub dining area of my residence.

When I recalled the night I so effortlessly served the ten quiche. I neglected to remember the fifty hands who helped (Four eager youngsters and a strong reliable husband) all made it such fun on that winter’s night when the moon was full.
Even though now I am weary, I will admit the quiche does look quite good. Perhaps next week I may try to bake Ella Pickles’ famous recipe for zucchini bread,
