Former Massapequa Star Named to Coaches All Region Team

Former Massapequa Chiefs Soccer star Brittany Butts has been named to the National Soccer  Coaches Association of America All Mid-Atlantic second team.

Butts, who helped lead Massapequa to two state championships, while in high school, scored two goals and an assist this season and started all but one game for the Pride.

The junior midfielder was also named first team All-Colonial Athletic Asccociation this season. She was also named to the confrence All-Rookie Team in 2008.

At , she played on four teams that won the Nassau County Class AA championship and was named to the all state team in her junior year.
