With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. Long Island Swim School offers swim lessons for children ages 2 - 14years old. The main emphasis of our programs is to teach children to swim correctly and develop essential water skills in a relaxed environment. The NY State Track and Field Championships were held June 10-11 just outside of Rochester at Caledonia-Mumford High School. With the weather cooperating, the girls and boys of Nassau County did themselves proud.  There were terrific results, personal bests, championships and medals for many, but the highlights for the girls came from Garden City, North Shore, Elmont and Uniondale, among others. While on the boys side it was Baldwin, Long Beach and Floral Park supplying the excitement.  The reward for finishing in the top six is an All-State designation.
