Just Salad Opens In Massapequa Park
The salad chain said it seeks to provide accessible, plant-centric meals for Massapequa Park and the surrounding communities.

MASSAPEQUA PARK, NY. — Massapequa Park residents looking to get some more plant-based meals in their diet will have a new option to do so, thanks to the opening of a new Just Salad location at 4962 Merrick Road.
Just Salad officials said the chain location would be rolling out a week-long slate of opening promotions starting Monday, Feb. 23. That day, the chain will donate $1 for every in-store purchase to ReWild Long Island, a nonprofit that promotes sustainable landscaping.
Tuesday and Wednesday have been designated as $5 meal days, with salads, wraps or warm bowls on offer at the new location for just $5. Thursday will be "Community Workers Day" at the new salad spot, with $5 deals continuing to be available for community workers with a valid ID or badge showing their employment. Finally, Friday, Feb. 27 through Sunday, Mar. 1 will be "$5 VIP Bowl" days, with discounts available for customers who bring in or purchase a Just Salad-branded reusable salad bowl.
