The K9 Shop Has Moved To Massapequa

Over the past few years American’s have been focusing on their health much more. They have been focusing on eating healthier and exercising. They have not only been focusing on their health and nutrition, but also on their pet’s diets. It has been proven that kibble companies fill their foods with fillers, preservatives, dyes and other unnatural elements. These products are not what are pets are supposed to eat. With the recent documentary “Pet Fooled” and the tedious research of veterinarians like Dr. Karen Becker, many people are now choosing to feed their pets a natural, species appropriate diet. Pet owners are now looking for viable options to feed their pets.

The K9 Shop is Long Island’s only raw and natural pet food store. They started this business over a year ago and have had a tremendous response. They focus only on raw and natural products. The K9 Shop recently moved their shop to Massapequa at 588 Broadway. During their brief tenure, their have also been focused on giving back to the community. They have worked with many rescue organizations, police and firefighters and most recently with the United States Service Dogs.

The K9 Shop has already assisted several veterinarians in creating a dietary plans for dogs with illnesses such as cancer, kidney disease, skin problems and several other conditions.

They are holding their grand opening on Saturday, June 23rd from 12-3 pm at their new location. During this event they will celebrate the new location with food and drinks. They will also have the United States Service Dogs on hand to bring attention to their cause. The United States Service Dog group adopts dogs and trains them to work with Veterans who have PTSD, TBI and depression.

They would love to celebrate this day with our new neighbors and community members.
