LI Pediatric Clinics Offering Coronavirus Antibody Tests

LONG ISLAND, NY — PM Pediatrics, which has many pediatric urgent care facilities across Long Island, is now offering COVID-19 antibody tests for both children and adults.

The tests are available by appointment at any PM Pediatrics facility. The antibody tests use a blood sample, which is drawn from a vein. The tests will determine if a person previously had COVID-19, and results usually come back in two to three days.

“Antibody testing helps provide our families with information to make better decisions about their health status," said Dr. Jeffrey Schor, the co-CEO of PM Pediatrics. "We are proud to serve our communities where we live and work.”

PM Pediatrics has Long Island locations in Manhasset, Selden, Commack, Massapequa Park, Syosset and Carle Place.

Appointments need to be booked on the PM Pediatrics Anywhere app, which is available on both the Apple App Store and on Google Play. PM Pediatrics is waiving the co-pays for the test for anyone with insurance. Without insurance, the test is $65.
