Police ID LI Woman Killed After Being Hit By 2 Cars
Police say the woman was trying to cross Sunrise Highway Tuesday night when she was hit by the two cars.
UPDATE, 4:30 P.M.: Police have identified the woman who was killed as 59-year-old Qwendolyn Manning, of Massapequa.
ORIGINAL STORY: A woman was killed in Massapequa last night after police say she was hit by two cars while trying to cross the street.
According to police, the 59-year-old woman was crossing Sunrise Highway near the Westfield Sunrise Mall at 7:22 p.m. As she was crossing, she was hit by a 2003 Ford Crown Victoria being driven by an 18-year-old man. The woman was then hit by a 2016 Kia SUV being driven by a 73-year-old man.

The woman suffered multiple traumatic injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Both drivers remained at the scene.
Police have not yet released the woman's identity. The investigation is ongoing.
