Man Assaults Officer At Massapequa Dog Park: Police
The officer was taken to a local hospital for his injuries after the altercation.

MASSAPEQUA, NY - A Massapequa Park man was arrested for assaulting an officer at a dog park in Massapequa on Monday evening, according to Nassau Police.
Officers responded to a disturbance at the park on Louden Street and Clocks Boulevard at about 5:52 p.m.
Upon arrival, they discovered two people having an argument. One of them, 59-year-old Lek Domni, 59, then "became combative" with officers, police said.

He then punched and elbowed the responding officer in the face, police said.
He was then placed under arrest, police said. The officer was injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Domni is charged with second degree assault, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.
He will be arraigned on Tuesday.
