Man Found With Assault Weapon, Ammunition And Gun Parts: Police

MASSAPEQUA, NY — A man was arrested on Saturday after several guns or gun accessories were located at his premises, police said.

Police got a call involving a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Upon arrival at a home on Philips Road, police found Gerald Gilraine, 21, with an injury to his left hand.

He was transported to an area hospital for treatment and evaluation.

An investigation by detectives recovered two-3D printers, two "ghost guns," one assault weapon, ammunition and assorted gun parts, Nassau police said.

Gilraine was arraigned on Sunday on counts that include criminal possession of a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon.
