We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. Long Island Swim School offers swim lessons for children ages 2 - 14years old. Police are searching for a man who robbed a North Massapequa bank Friday night.According to police, the man entered the TD Bank located at 1354 Hicksville Road, at the corner of Jerusalem Avenue, shortly after 7 p.m. and passed a note to a teller demanding cash. The teller complied and the robber fled the bank southbound on Hicksville Road in a dark Jeep Wrangler with an undetermined amount of cash, police said. There were three employees and one customer in the bank at the time of the robbery. No injuries were reported.The robber was described as white, 5-foot-9, with a thin build, unshaven and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, aviator sunglasses and a baseball cap.Police are asking anyone with information regarding the robbery to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
