Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. Long Island Swim School is the teaching arm of the nationally ranked Long Island Aquatic Club. Our Learn to Swim programs create strong, safe, and confident swimmers for life. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. Long Island Swim School offers swim lessons for children ages 2 - 14years old. The main emphasis of our programs is to teach children to swim correctly and develop essential water skills in a relaxed environment. MASSAPEQUA, NY - Police are seeking a man wanted for threatening a store employee after trying to steal five boxes of Ensure and two boxes of diapers from a Massapequa CVS back in March, according to Nassau Police. On March 27 the man (pictured above) was seen inside the store on 20 Broadway when he stole the items from the store shelves, police said. When confronted by a store employee, the man threatened the employee with a sharp pointed object. A struggle ensued, and the man fled the scene in a gray two door car traveling in an unknown direction leaving the merchandise behind. Crime Stoppers is asking anyone who can identify the subject, or with any information about this crime to call their toll free hotline: 1-800-244-TIPS (8477)
