Massapequa Drug & Medication Take Back Day

Be A Part of the Solution to Prevent Prescription Drug Misuse!

Massapequa Takes Action Coalition (MTAC) , with the support of Senator John Brooks and Assemblywoman Christine Pellegrino, invite all residents to dispose of their unused or expired medications at the Massapequa Drug and Medication Take Back Day on Saturday, Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Massapequa High School (East Driveway, District Office Parking Lot). Parents and residents are encouraged to be a part of the solution as 71% of young adults in the Massapequas who misuse prescription drugs get them from the medicine cabinets of friends and family.

Instructions: keep all medications in the original containers; block out name for anonymity; do not cross out medication information; and syringes and sharps will also be accepted. Please note medications may also be dropped off any time at any Nassau County Police Department Precinct. Disposal boxes are located in the lobby.
