Massapequa High School Hosting Fundraising Concert
Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Cancer Center for Kids at NYU Winthrop Hospital.

Massapequa High School will host 5Alive, a benefit concert for children with cancer, on Saturday, May 5. All proceeds will support the Cancer Center for Kids at NYU Winthrop Hospital.
The event is being organized by Team ECHO, the school’s Environmental Consciousness at Home club under the direction of adviser Robert Hempel. The fun begins at 5 p.m. with food from Taco Joe’s and All American Hamburger in addition to candy from Five Below, a live band and raffles.
The concert starts at 7 p.m. in the auditorium, featuring five decades of pop-rock music performed by Massapequa High School musicians and professional singer and songwriter Ed Ryan. Admission is a $5 donation to the Cancer Center.
