Massapequa High School Officials Accept Blue Ribbon Award

MASSAPEQUA, NY - Officials from Massapequa High School recently traveled to Washington D.C. to accept Blue Ribbon Award of Excellence from the U.S. Department of Education.

Principal Patrick DiClemente, social studies teacher Gail Hayes and Superintendent of Schools Lucille Iconis all attended the National Blue Ribbon Schools Awards Ceremony held on Nov. 7.

Massapequa was one of 342 schools in the nation to receive the honor in September and was chosen as an Exemplary High Performing School following an extensive application and review process.
