Nassau County Home Destroyed By Flames Overnight
Firefighters were called to the home around 11 p.m. Wednesday, officials said.
EAST MASSAPEQUA, NY — A fire swept through and destroyed an East Massapequa home Wednesday night, officials said.
Firefighters were called to Shinnecock Avenue around 11 p.m. Wednesday, officials said. They arrived to an active house fire that started in the backyard, News 12 reported.
Five people and two dogs reportedly lived in the home. All evacuated safely.

Photos posted on social media by the Nassau County Fire Service Academy showed the home engulfed in heavy orange flames overnight.
