Nassau County Home Destroyed By Flames Overnight

EAST MASSAPEQUA, NY — A fire swept through and destroyed an East Massapequa home Wednesday night, officials said.

Firefighters were called to Shinnecock Avenue around 11 p.m. Wednesday, officials said. They arrived to an active house fire that started in the backyard, News 12 reported.

Five people and two dogs reportedly lived in the home. All evacuated safely.
