Massapequa Man Charged With Driving While on Drugs After Leaving Scene of Crash: Police
The crash occurred on Monday night.
LINDENHURST, NY - A Massapequa man was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs after he was involved in a car crash in Lindenhurst on Monday night, according to Suffolk Police.
Tyler Bravo, 22, was driving a 2002 Dodge when he struck a 2009 Hyundai at Wellwood Avenue and Straight Path at 11:05 p.m., police said.
The driver of the Hyundai suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Bravo fled the scene and crashed his car into parked cars on 48th Street at New Highway in Lindenhurst.
He was then arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an incident without reporting and DWI-drugs, police said.

He was also issued a ticket for a suspended license.
