Massapequa Man Racked Up Unauthorized $108K Credit Card Bill, Faces Larceny Charge: Police

Police say the man's arraignment is scheduled for Saturday.

MASSAPEQUA, NY. — A 30-year-old Massapequa man is facing a grand larceny charge after police said he made multiple unauthorized charges on a credit card totaling $108,000.

Nassau County police said Anastassios Poukamisas was arrested Friday just after 12 p.m. in connection with multiple larcenies that took place between Apr. 21 and Sept. 2, 2025. Police said a report on the charges had been filed on Oct. 23, with an investigation following. In the end, Poukamisas was found to have run up charges and arrested without incident, police said.

Poukamisas now faces one charge of second-degree grand larceny, with an arraignment scheduled for Saturday, police said.
