Massapequa Sixth-Graders Spread Holiday Spirit Through Song
Under the direction of music teacher Kathleen Dyckman the group performed with music and dance.
From Massapequa School District: The holiday lighting at Klestinec Park on Dec. 2 was made even more festive thanks to the performance of the Early Morning Risers choral group from Berner Middle School in the Massapequa School District. The 36 sixth-graders, under the direction of music teacher Kathleen Dyckman, performed “We need a Little Christmas,” “Shalom” and “Celebrating Hanukkah.” They also sang and danced along to the “Frosty Hand Jive.”
