Massapequa Store Robbed Twice In Two Days: Nassau Police

MASSAPEQUA, NY — The Nassau County Police Department reported the following incidents in the Massapequa area for the week ending Aug. 18.
All charges are merely accusations.
- A purse was stolen from an unlocked car parked at John Burns Park on Merrick Road in Massapequa on Aug. 11.
- A catalytic converter was stolen from a car parked on Violet Street in Massapequa on Aug. 12.
- A man stole three pairs of shoes from Famous Footwear on Sunrise Highway in Massapequa on Aug. 11.
- A woman stole two pairs of shoes from Famous Footwear on Sunrise Highway in Massapequa on Aug. 10.
- Cynthia Marroquin, 20, of Bohemia, was arrested on Aug. 15 and charged with shoplifting from Macy's in the Sunrise Mall.
- The window screen of a home on Brooklyn Avenue in Massapequa Park was damaged on Aug. 13.
- The rear sliding glass door of a home on Roosevelt Boulevard in Massapequa was damaged on Aug. 14.
