Multiple Bikes Stolen From Nassau Sporting Goods Store: Police
Dick's Sporting Goods had a trespass ban in place for Michael Marte, who was charged on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — A man is charged after several bicycles were stolen from Dick's Sporting Goods in Massapequa in the past few days.
Michael Marte, 36, of Copiague, was observed by officers entering the Sunrise Highway location, police said.
Marte fled when he spotted the officers. He was taken into custody without incident on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

An investigation revealed that Marte had a trespass ban from Dick's Sporting Goods and was not allowed in the store, authorities said.
He is charged with three counts of third-degree burglary and petit larceny. Marte was scheduled for arraignment on Tuesday.
