Long Island Man Fires Shots From Apartment, Hits 2 Neighboring Homes: Cops
Steven Frigand of North Massapequa was charged for the early Sunday incident, police say.
NORTH MASSAPEQUA, NY — A North Massapequa man was arrested for firing a semi-automatic rifle that struck two neighboring homes.
Steven Frigand, 57, is charged with two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment and three counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Frigand is accused of firing his weapon, just before 1 a.m. Sunday, from his basement apartment on Sussex Avenue, police said.

Shots hit the back exterior wall of one home and entered the living room of the other residence, authorities said.
Frigand, who was taken to a local hospital for evaluation and released, was expected to be arraigned on Monday.
