Nassau Mini Mart Robbed At Gunpoint
The man may have escaped in a brown Hyundai Elantra driven by a woman after the robbery on Tuesday night, police say.
NORTH MASSAPEQUA, NY - A North Massapequa mini mart was robbed at gunpoint on Tuesday night, according to Nassau Police.
A man entered the mini mart of Lukoil on 975 N. Broadway, at about 10:55 p.m. when he displayed a silver handgun to the stores clerk and demanded he put money from the register into a blue duffel bag that he placed on the counter.
After the clerk gave him the cash, the robber fled the store and was last seen heading towards N. Linden Street.

Police believe the man then escaped in a brown Hyundai Elantra that was parked on N. Linden Street and was being driven by a 55-years-old woman with blonde hair.
The uninjured clerk described the man as wearing a gray hoodie, jeans and a black ski mask covering his face.
