Nassau Police Report: Week of October 27

Check out the recent crimes and arrests reported near the Massapequa area.

Nassau County Police released the crime report for the week of Oct. 27 to Nov. 3.

Check out the following incidents and arrests near the Massapequa area over the past week as reported by police:

  • Oct. 19: Toney W. Hardiway, 42, of Wyandanch was arrested for shoplifting from Home Goods on Carmans Road in Massapequa.
  • Oct. 21: Alexis Brown, 28, of South Ozone Park was arrested for shoplifting from Macy's in the Broadway Mall in Hicksville.
  • Oct. 22: Nelly Hurtado, 64, of East Meadow was arrested for shoplifting from the Broadway Mall in Hicksville.
  • Oct. 24: Nicole Silverstein, 29, of Massapequa was arrested for shoplifting from Macy's on Old Country Road in East Garden City.
  • Oct. 26: A man reported that someone damaged three of the four tires of his car while it was parked on Diamond Drive in Plainview.
  • Oct. 28: A man reported that someone damaged his car by smashing the drivers side window on California Avenue and Hempstead Turnpike in South Farmingdale.
  • Oct. 30: A woman reported that someone damaged and broke the back window of her car while it was parked at Three Brothers Pizzeria on Merritts Road in Farmingdale.
  • Oct. 31: A man reported that someone threw eggs at his home on Harmony Drive in Massapequa Park.
