Nassau Woman Woken Up By Man Climbing Into Window
Police say the woman kicked the man, who then threw her to the ground and stopped her from calling 911.
A Massapequa woman woke up early Wednesday morning to find a man climbing into her bedroom window, police say.
According to police, the woman was in her home on Franklin Avenue when she was woken up at 3:30 a.m. by a man climbing into her window. She scream and kicked the man, who police say threw her to the ground and prevented her from calling 911. The man then climbed out of the window and fled in an unknown direction.
The man was wearing a gray baseball cap, a black mask, gray sweatshirt, blue jeans and tan work boots. Police say no further description is available.

The woman suffered a minor injury to her knee.
