With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. Long Island Swim School offers swim lessons for children ages 2 - 14years old. The main emphasis of our programs is to teach children to swim correctly and develop essential water skills in a relaxed environment. A new Italian restaurant opened up in Massapequa Park this past weekend.Tra'mici Ristorante Italiano (which translates to "Among Friends") hosted their grand opening, complete with a ribbon cutting, on Saturday night. The restaurant, located on 4913 Merrick Road, replaced the steakhouse Cavendish &amp; Ross, which opened in March last year. Serving a menu of strictly Italian cuisine, the restaurant strives for a casual, friendly environment."We understand food is the bond that brings family and friends together," Tra'mici's website reads. "Whether you're here for a romantic dinner, a group of fifteen or just relaxing and enjoying a drink in our lounge, we'll make your experience special."Chef Massimo Fedozzi, a Northern Italy native, is the owner of the restaurant. He also runs Pentimento restaurant in Stony Brook, which has earned three and a half stars, as well as Created PALIO Restaurant in Jericho and VERO in Amityville.
