No. 93: Bat Around a Ball At Field of Dreams

Now that the weather is starting to warm up, Massapequans who are interested in getting out and stretching their limbs have several options as far as where to do so. Once such option is the beautiful Town of Oyster Bay multi-sport facility known as the , located on Old Sunrise Highway.

Completed in 2005 and named after the inspirational Kevin Costner baseball movie, Massapequa's Field of Dreams (which, oddly enough, has no baseball field) offers two full-sized multi-purpose fields that come complete with their own electronic scoreboards and lighting for night games.

The fields are ideal for hosting games such as football, soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey. In addition, there's also a basketball court, in addition to playgrounds for the kids.

So, the next time you have a sporting itch, pay a visit to the Field of Dreams to scratch it.
