North Massapequa Woman Arrested in Credit Card ID Theft

Victim's former roommate charged with Grand Larceny.

A North Massapequa woman used her former roommate's name and social security number to open joint credit card accounts without the roomie's knowledge, police said.

Audrey Sehlmeyer, 32 allegedly got the 23-year old victim's personal information when they lived together briefly.

When the victim checked her credit report she discovered that Sehlmeyer had opened three unauthorized joint accounts and charged, $6,000 to the accounts, cops said.
