Obituary: Donald V. Balistreri, of Massapequa Park, Dies at 97
A funeral service will take place on Monday.

Donald V. Balistreri, of Massapequa Park, died on November 1. He was 97.
Balistreri was a veteran of World War II with over four years of service in the US Army.
He was a graduate of St. John’s University College and Law School. He practiced law for over 50 years and was the surviving partner of the firm of Turner & Balistreri in Mineola.

In addition, Balistreri was an avid golfer and a member of the Southampton Golf Club where he resided in his summer home at Cold Spring Point community in Southampton since 1954.
He was predeceased in life by his wife, Susan.

He is survived by his nephew Thomas Balistreri, and nieces, Carole Byrnes (Billy), Patrice Balistreri and Anita Miller (Michael), all children of his dear predeceased brother/wife, Frank J. and Angelina D. Balistreri.
A visitation took place on Sunday, Nov. 6 at the Massapequa Funeral Home, North Chapel in Massapequa Park.
A funeral service will take place on Monday, Nov. 7 at the Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church on 855 Carman Road in Massapequa Park starting at 10:45 a.m.
Internment will take place on St. John's Cemetery in Middle Village.
