Obituary:​ Salvatrice Proimos, of Massapequa, Dies at 84

Died: June 24, 2016

Visitation: Thursday, June 30 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the James Funeral Home on 540 Broadway in Massapequa.

Service: Friday, July 1 from 10:15 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the St. James RC Church on 80 Hicksville Road in Seaford.

Obituary: Salvatrice Proimos, of Massapequa, passed away on Friday, June 24. She was 84.

Proimos enjoyed a good game of bowling. She belonged to the Red Hats Club and was a Eucharistic Minister.

She also loved playing cards, cooking, listening to Italian Music and chocolate.

She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, James T. Proimos and her brothers Frank, Tony, and Benny.

She is survived by her children; Rosemary, Theresa and Bill, Jimmy and Jolie, Teddy and Sue, Suzanne and Len.

In addition, Proimos is survived by her grandchildren Christine, Lisa, Suzanne, Michael, Nicole, Jimmy, Andrea, Kelly, Chelsea, Jackson, and Suzanna; her great-grandchildren Autumn, Anthony, Giuliana, Frankie, Gianni, Alexandra and Emily; and her siblings Mario, John, and Maryann.
