Obituary:​ Susan Dowd, of Massapequa, Dies

Died: July 30, 2016

Visitation: Tuesday, August 2 and Wednesday, August 3 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Massapequa Funeral Home, South Chapel on 4980 Merrick Road in Massapequa Park.

Service: Wednesday, August 3 at the Massapequa Funeral Home, South Chapel.

Obituary: Susan Dowd, of Massapequa, on Saturday, July 30 after a 5 year battle with cancer.

Susan was an award winner math teacher at Syosset High School for 27 years.

She is survived by her husband, Brian; her sons, Conor and Tyler; her parents Marilyn and Stanley Weyant and her siblings of Jim and Carole Weyant and Barbara (Weyant) and Bob Kramer.

In addition, Susan is survived by her in-laws, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in memory of Susan to Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital.

Cremation will be private.
