Opportunities for Growth

Today’s messages are scary.

Stay inside, don’t touch…anything, be afraid, be small. With so many super-charged and overwhelming strategies, any positive thoughts can get lost in a viral cacophony.

Stress, tension, restrictions, and apprehension have become part of our vocabulary and energetic footprint. However, the purpose of these unfortunate consequences may not be to curtail us, but perhaps are part of a larger construct enabling us to branch out to unexpected pinnacles or formulate unprecedented ways of self-empowerment.

The mature Sequoia tree stands formidable and impeachable, but before it reached its majestic stature, it was a simple conifer seed. Contentment with itself only required laying in the bright sunshine as a tiny cog of its vast ecosystem. One day it became covered with soil, and the little seed felt imposed upon, stifled, dirty, and violated.

Eventually it was immersed in complete darkness, cut off from sunlight and the world it knew. Perhaps it was frightened or angry, maybe… it was hopeful.

As it adjusted to obscurity, a Source greater than it stimulated its innards, stirring internalizations, dispelling boundaries, and unleashing the emergence of limitlessness. The initial commotion had paved the groundwork for a transitory implementation that it did not recognize and had not requested.

The Greater than Source kept at it, and called it to rise. Eventually, it broke through the rich topsoil that it thought had smothered it in endless night it to realize it had blanketed it in safety from harsh weather and hungry predators. The curse was a blessing.

Unrecognizable to itself, it sprang forth with a supple stem, shoots, and buds…all the while reaching and transforming, and always overcoming. Never static, perpetually morphing. It persevered fierce storms, relentless frost, perspiring heat, and other intrusions, and it was all made possible due to the first challenge of the asphyxiating detritus.

Now fully grown, it is a source of refuge, sustenance, shelter, and hope as it propels upward, soaring to unimaginable heights, and fearing nothing because it knows it is protected, cared for, and loved. If struggles and obstacles seem bigger than you, ask for help from the Greatest Source.
