Overdose Investigation Leads To Heroin Dealer's Arrest: Police
Police say the man, from Queens, was selling heroin in Nassau County when he was arrested.

A Queens man was arrested early Sunday morning in Massapequa Park for allegedly selling heroin, police say.
Nassau police say that Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives were investigating a death from an overdose, which led to the arrest of Edward Gillespie, 21, of Horace Harding expressway, Corona. He was arrested in front of a home on North Atlantic Avenue in Massapequa Park at 12:15 a.m.
Police say Gillespie sold a substance believed to be heroin to a Nassau County resident. After his arrest, police say they recovered multiple wax paper envelopes containing a tan, powdery substance believed to be heroin.

Gillespie is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal sale of a controlled substance. He was arraigned on Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead.
