Oyster Bay Holding Hearing For New TOBAY Beach Concessions

The public will be able to view the meeting live or on the town's website.

The Town of Oyster Bay will be holding a special public meeting on March 21 to hear proposals for new concessions at TOBAY Beach.

Starting at 10 a.m. at Oyster Bay Town Hall, located at 54 Audrey Ave. in Oyster Bay, the board will hear presentations from those interested in operating concessions at the beach.

"The Town Board will publicly hear presentations submitted in response to a request for proposals for the operation of food and beverage concessions at TOBAY Beach," Supervisor Joseph Saladino said. "As with all our regular Town Board meetings, the presentations will be live-streamed through the town's website."

Interested applicants will present their proposals for concessions at TOBAY and answer questions from the board. Board members will use a scoring sheet to assist in making their selections based on evaluation criteria that includes the applicant's overall capabilities, experience, organizational ability, financial capability, and fee and price structure.
