Oyster Bay Holds Peanut Butter Food Drive For Local Pantries
Donations can be made from Oct. 1-Nov. 15.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — A specific food drive is coming to the Town of Oyster Bay. Throughout October, residents are asked to donate peanut butter to local food pantries.
The Town of Oyster Bay is partnering with the Massapequa Farmingdale Men's Club.
Drop-off containers are located at Town Hall North and South, along with the Town Ice Skating Center in Bethpage.

"Peanut butter has a long shelf life, provides many nutrients and doesn’t require refrigeration, making it among the most highly requested items from local food banks," Supervisor Joseph Saladino said.
Almond butter and cookie butter, as well as jelly, are also accepted.

All items must be new and sealed.
The Peanut Butter Drive runs until Nov. 15.
