Police: Assault, Shoplifting Charges, Car Damage in Massapequa

Nassau County Police reported the following information. Charges are accusations and do not imply guilt.

Robbery

• Nov. 10: Park Boulevard, Massapequa Park; man was knocked down and had his cellphone stolen. Subject was arrested.
• Nov. 10: Park Boulevard, Massapequa Park; two victims struck in the face with a closed fist, subject arrested.

Incidents

• Nov. 7: LIRR, Massapequa Park; hood and roof dented on parked car.
• Nov. 8: Macy’s, Massapequa; unsecured bicycle stolen.
• Nov. 8: Baltimore Avenue, Massapequa; unknown person damaged dryer vent cover, window screen, garden hose nozzle.
• Nov. 11: Sunrise Mall, Massapequa; credit cards removed from parked car, no damage reported.
• Nov. 11: Westwood Road North, Massapequa; iPod stolen from parked car.
• Nov. 12: Sunrise Mall, Massapequa; cell phone stolen.
• Nov. 8: Elm Street, Massapequa; two tires slashed on parked car.

Arrests

• Nov. 12: Chantel Johnson, 19, of Rockville Centre, charged with shoplifting at Walmart, Massapequa.
