Police: Man Robbed at Gunpoint Behind Smokin' Al's in Massapequa Park

Two men wearing masks, gloves, robbed man at gunpoint behind restaurant late Wednesday night, cops said.

A man was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night in the back alley of Smokin’ Al’s restaurant, according to Nassau County Police.

The 26-year-old victim had just exited through a rear door of the Massapequa Park restaurant at 11:25 p.m. when he was approached by two men in the back alley, cops said.

One of the men revealed a handgun and the two men stole the victim’s backpack, an iPad, and $20 cash, police said.

The two men fled north on Park Boulevard, cops said.

The victim was reportedly uninjured.

The men were wearing dark clothing, gloves and ski masks, cops said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
