Police: Shoplifting Arrests, DWI in Massapequa

The following information was submitted by Nassau County Police Department. Charges are accusations and do not imply guilt.

Petit Larceny

• Oct. 16: Macy’s Massapequa; Derrick Myers, 31, of Rosedale, charged with shoplifting.
• Oct. 18: Walmart, Massapequa; Gerard Sherry, 21, of Glen Cove, charged with shoplifting.
• Oct. 18: JC Penney, Massapequa; Angela Caravana, 55, of Smithtown, charged with shoplifting.
• Oct. 20: Pathmark, Massapequa; Denise Mello, 42, of Amityville, charged with shoplifting.

DWI

• Oct. 21: Central Avenue and Clark Avenue, Massapequa; Lisa Capolino, 39, of Massapequa, charged with DWI.

Crimes

• Oct. 17: Ontario Avenue, Massapequa; driver side window of car damaged, someone rummaged through items but stole nothing.
• Oct. 22: Bar Harbor Motel, Massapequa; items stolen.
