Massapequa's Boy Scouts Troop 660 joined Massapequa's Cub Scout Pack 696 to honor 9/11 victims by planting flags on the lawn at Massapequa Village Hall in Massapequa Park earlier this week. Scouts very carefully lined up the flags using string in neat rows on the lawn of Massapequa's Village Hall. "The boys understand the significance of paying tribute to those who lost their lives. Working in the heat for a few hours is worth the effort to remember those victims", commented one parent. The flags will be removed over the weekend by the scouts. Massapequa applauds both groups of scouts for their efforts.
